The Fountainhead: Ayn Rand

Its been ages since I read this novel but still the memory of each and every character and the story is so much fresh in my mind and so, today I thought to write about this one.

This is a story about Howard Roark who is also the protagonist. Its about his individualism and perseverance. Howard is a young architect who has a little peculiar personality! He chooses to struggle the outdated traditions and prejudices. He simply refuses to give up on his values, principles and artistic vision and this is one thing that made Howard's character different and unique. Its very admirable the way he believed in his capabilities. Everybody was against him but he remained abide to his thinking and was determined to achieve his vision and goal!

Even the heroine of this novel Dominique Francon who is described by Rand as "the woman for a man like Howard Roark." is a little whimsical character. Howard's and her love story is truly different and unique one! Its a hate-love, love-hate love story.
An amazing novel! This is one novel which gives a very strong message to keep your individuality on top of everything! Believe me, this novel has a power to change a person's prospective towards life. I would say this is a very strong, influential and intense piece which really deserves a lot of appreciation:)

Go ahead and read it. You will either love it or hate it:)
